Moon Cresta
I’ve been looking for a nice Moon Cresta clone for Amiga. Does one exist?

Hybris is very similar to terra cresta and a very cool shooter. Moon cresta is more similar to galaga, so maybe deluxe galaga on amiga could be a good game in that style

And Battle Squadron is similar to Terra Force (3rd from series of "Cresta"). But there's no side view in underground section as in Terra Force.

Aside from Deluxe Galaga, the only game thats similar to Moon Cresta is Mega Phoenix by Dynamic. Theres always Moon Cresta on C64 via cross emulation of course!

You could also use the Atari 7800 conversion in the latest version of Altirra (3.10) with VBXE hardware added and grab the game from post #30 in this link:
Code:
http://atariage.com/forums/topic/192297-moon-cresta-updates/ then just drag/drop the mc29_d6.xex file into Altirra, left & right arrow keys for movement + CTRL for fire! Last edited by BarryB; 14 April 2019 at 12:32. |

Moon Cresta runs in WinUAE using the 030 version of M.A.M.E. Had to rename some of the roms to what the output window was looking for but seems to run fine, can't see any issues other than the rom I have has some japanese text
Also had to edit the installer tooltype in M.A.M.E. to say NOVICE as they are set to EXPERT and when run just sit at an animated screen, using NOVICE it installs to the folder where the installer is! |

In a Real Amiga you can run the Zx Spectrum version in an emulator.
