Just as an addendum to this:
The Classic cracked version of Shockwave isn't 100%. This is a new revelation to me as I had the Skid Row cracked version all those years ago, but haven't had a chance to check that version. In the Classic version, the enemy paths are rubbish and very linear, because one of the Copylocks hasn't been decoded which would then generate the enemy path table. I will now check out the Skid Row version to see if that one is also knobbed up. |

Shockwave - Cracked versions
All versions of Shockwave that have either been cracked by Classic or Skid Row are not 100%
No wonder this game got such a bad press from most Amiga owners thinking it was boring and not involving, because part of the copy protection failure was to limit the enemy paths to simply moving in a straight line toward you. For those that need anymore convincing, check out the WHDLoad version, the game plays totally differently. |

I either witness a clear contradiction, or you do intentionally want a non-100% version to be upped to the zone, or don't you? |

Doh!
In between those messages, CodyJarrett got me the Skid Row version to compare with.
This is how I can safely make the statement I have just made. |

Sweet... Silent Service (and its successor) was one of my fav. silumators on miggy.
Was the "Up Periscope" ever released for amiga ? I had it on c64 and it was much better than SS games. I remember an ad for Amiga version too. But so far I only found the lame arcade shooter named "Up Scope" |
