Our home retro-gaming party!
Hi!
Just wanted to share a vid of our last retro-gaming meeting at Madrid. It was originally meant to be held at some public place, but that couldn't get worked out, so it was reduced to a friend's reunion at someone's house where everyone would carry as much good old 8/16 bits stuff as possible. And it was a hell of fun! I would like to encourage people to make this kind of activities, more oriented to be local informal meetings, as a way to make a retro-enthusiast's life easier between the real big events. Youtube -> [ Show youtube player ] I attended with my FMV equipped CD32, which was used for playing a lot of games and also watching some VCD clips I made for the ocassion, includding Eric Schwartz's Still Alive animation. In a really touchy moment, someone's kid, who was an experienced Half Life gamer, asked what was going on with using Portal song as an "Amiga tribute" which gave us the chance for giving some History lessons  -- |

To be honest I didn't care much about the CD-32, but I was paying a lot of attention to that X68000

AWESOME! A wonderfull collection of machines there, I was quite taken by the Arabian MSX to be sincerely honest! what was the name of the game that it was playing - the shoot'em up one with the floating islands - looked interesting. |

Why do you have A520 plugged into RGB port of A600, when the machine has in-bulit TV modulator? Is it broken? Or any s-video hack? |
