Use the sheet inside the cave to scare the doc. He will not THAT scared. Talk to him and a ghost-fly appears (his father spirit). When he runs, take all potions you can. Grab the fly, too.

Read the potion's label. Add what required. You will not drink the potion, but you need to find a way to use it in the contest indian. A tip: when at first you don't succeed... try two more times (doing another thing in between).

Save some peppers (spice) for another use!

Thanks for your reply, but how to wear the luminous sheet? I tried "use/operate" options in many places inside the cave but it didn't work.
Maybe something more should be done before wearing the sheet?

Did you examine it?

Or just click on it directly, without clicking in an action button before?

The result of examining sheet is a sentence "It's the sheet I stole covered with luminous paint" and nothing more happens.
Clicking on sheet directly makes nothing

Try to use it after the exam. This game have some bugs who can make you very anger.

Still no luck. It seems to be too much bugs in the game. I'm really too tired of trying. When pleasure changes to pain it's time to stop. So I'm going to play another adventure game.

Can you please stop whining?

Maybe you have no idea about the generosity and helpfulness of the author, Henrik Smiding with his (unusual!) will to even fix some bugs after this whale of a time?

I would LOVE to present Hendrik a bug in the game which can prevent people from getting caught in a deadend trap in the future.
But by moaning and sulking things are not going to improve.

@Andreas: don't need to be rude, m8. Some people are not skilled in Amiga "beta" programs.

But I agree: Hendrik's work and generosity are awesome.

Shame the game don't became commercial.

I love the game, even with those annoying bugs (sometimes you make everything as supposed to be and on the next moving... nothing). Need to do the same thing a lot of times to it run.

If I have his mail, I'll poke him to fix the game, congratulate him and suggest an extension to the final chapter.

Those adventure games are simply delicious to play!

Rude? Well I was just trying to give a polite (but yet decisive!) reply to PopoCop who just showed me this classic "pulling a face if something does not happen to work to his likings" tactics.
You know, it is those very moaners and whiners who made former WinUAE developer Brian King's nerves wear thin. WinUAE is not a game like ISOT, but both are software. Well, it seems that in Andreas' opinion I should be very happy because "In a Shadow of Time" is free to download and everybody can play it. But I'm not. Game has bugs inside and seems to be not tested properly. And one of those bugs makes "ISoT" useless because it doesn't work as it should. I've spent a lot of time trying to go further in the game and I'm really tired.

I downloaded "ISoT" as a FULL GAME (not Beta version, not playable demo). I don't care if the game is free or commercial - it's called FULL so I want it to work properly!

Well I'm having the same problem..I've got the sheet but it won't let me use it...I think there's something that probably needs to be done first before it will let you do that part..

I'm allowed to take the honey but I've got nothing to put it in and I've no idea where this tobacco is that's been mentioned..
