CDTV with 2MB could run even more games.

Isn't there a way that I can get my hands on the cdtv sources? I won't share them with anyone, I'd just use the lowlevel track read routine to adapt to the existing CD32 loader to make it a CD32/CDTV loader.

Then, CD32load could load directly from CDTV cd drive and run even more games. A lot more ECS games could be played. And with 2MB almost all ECS games could.

In the 'leak' there are newer cdtv sources that should be suitable - they look to support the cdtv v2. It was a bit beyond my care factor to try and rebuild everything as the versions were all over the place.

any piece of code able to read raw sectors is fine by me. The challenge is anyway to connect it to the existing Psygore (resourced from RobNorthen probably since he didn't provide his source...) cd loader.

But doable. I don't have a cdtv but I'd love to adapt cd32load on it.

I don't believe CDTV users can use the extended ROMs from the CDTV2/CR as the hardware is completely different.

CDTV owners use the normal 16-bit Kickstart 3.1 (v40.63) which requires Extended Kickstart v2.07+ (v2.30 was I believe the last which was in the A570)

Yes unfortunately the original source for the CDTV extended ROMs seems to have been lost. The leak only contains the source for CDTV II/CR which is different hardware.

Hyperion said as much when they launched 3.1.4 They were unable to build CDTV extended ROMs. They did recently say they had recruited someone to try to re-write / resource the CDTV extended ROMs

Yes I have it. I'm away for Xmas but I'll get it to you when I get back
