jaguar jx220 - buying parts not working

how do i buy parts for my car in jaguar jx220? i select something using the arrow buttons and then i use that "buy" button. but nothing happens. i don't get anything and money is not getting less. so actually i'm not buying anything. that "buy" button doesn't seem to work. and where can i find that "data disk" the game is asking for after the shop screen?

You can not buy a part, if it is green. Do not buy anything until it is really needed (deep red saying Repair major damage first!), it has not any impact on the gameplay.

There is no datadisk required, after the shop it allows you to save your progress to a savegame disk. If you click exit, you proceed to the game without saving.

It's a repair shop, not a parts shop. You need to pay to repair the parts that glow red.

Datadisk is just disk 2 name. In shop you can buy only parts to replace broken parts, yellow or red.

thx for info about repair shop. so only repair and no upgrades.

regarding datadisk: i had disk 2 inserted while jaguar jx220 asked for data disk.
disk 2 wasn't recognized as data disk. the game was still asking for "data disk".

Never happened to me. After the shop there is a file requester where you select a drive for saving. If you do not want to save, simply click Exit.

My fault. Downloaded days ago from Planetemu, and disk 2 is named "Data" there. Maybe you use editor before playing? "Data" is used for save and for distribute own tracks.
