Heimdal saving in WHDLoad

Help - Just re-discovered this great game in WHDLoad, but how do I save my game ?, It`s asking for a blank floppy but will not save to it
" This is a game disk, please insert blank in Df0 "
I suspect it`s because WHDLoad is directing file access away from DF0 ??

From readme:
