Why 1983 (Amiga 1000 was 1985, wasn't it)? But even the old Ataris (800, 2600..) were able to color cycle.

The Amstrad CPC version of boing was a basic type-in published in the july of 1986 issue of Amstrad Action, you can get it here.
PD: Because it's basic, takes long to start, but when the picture is "rendered", goes fast because only is colour-cycling + hardware scroll |
