Just a heads up r-type is currently on sale in the apple app store £1.49

also on android priced £2

It's actually 1.99 $ (Apple) vs. 1.99 € (Google). (at least that's what I see...)

Is it playable? I have nothing against iPhone but that game require maximum control precision.

Wait a minute, this was available on iOS for years. Then it went down quite recently. And now it's back?

Probably a change of publisher - could swear EA published the port in the past.

Your correct, it was pulled for some reason.

I remember when we met Chris Huelsbeck, he was giving us a demo of the revamped R-Type music he was working on for it.

Well, you save 0.50 £ for each copy of R-type that you buy for an Apple device.

So if you buy 600 copies, you can probably get even. I'll have to ponder that next time I buy a smartphone/tablet
