Is it playable? I have nothing against iPhone but that game require maximum control precision.

Wait a minute, this was available on iOS for years. Then it went down quite recently. And now it's back?
Probably a change of publisher - could swear EA published the port in the past. |

Well, you save 0.50 £ for each copy of R-type that you buy for an Apple device.
So if you buy 600 copies, you can probably get even. I'll have to ponder that next time I buy a smartphone/tablet |
