For sale: Blizzard PPC boards and other items

Hi,

my Amiga collection has to be reduced as it has grown to big, and have removed my focus from the initial purpose of owning an Amiga; which is simply to enjoy the games there are available for this great gaming computer.

Some of you might have seen me around on other Amiga boards under the name of DoctorQ, and I still enjoy it there, but my opinion is that it is missing a marketplace. That's the reason why I'm posting here.

I'm not trying to make big money by selling my hardware here, but want to let other people enjoy the power of these boards I'm not using anyway. Not to mention the unfortunate habbit I have of buying boards on eBay that I'm not really in the need of...

Anyway, I'm covered with the 5 Amigas that I'm sticking with. The prices might seem high, but I know what it is worth, and I think the prices are reasonable.

So, here we go:

1 x Blizzard PPC board, with 68040 CPU and 160 MHz PPC CPU. Comes with installation CD and a CD with all needed software, manual in PDF form and installation disks in DMS, ADF and LHA format. Price is 250 EURO.

1 x Blizzard PPC board, with 68040 CPU and 240 MHz PPC CPU and SCSI controller. Comes with installation CD and a CD with all needed software, manual in PDF form and installation disks in DMS, ADF and LHA format. Price is 350 EURO

Blizzard PPC, with 68060 CPU and 240 MHz PPC CPU and SCSI controller is sold.

BVision graphics card is sold.

MicroniK busboard 6860 rev. 5.44, with 5 x Zorro II slots, 1 x Video slot and 2 x PCI slots (unfortunately not active). Also included is a video slot enabler, which is needed in order to use a zorro scandoubler, like the MicroniK Scandy or the scandoubler module for a CyberVision 64/3D. I have tested this board with a CyberVision 64/3D graphics card, a X-Surf ethernet card and a MicroniK Scandy scandoubler. Price is 50 EURO

Quantum Prodrive LPS 52 MB SCSI (50 pins) drive is gone.

Regarding the Blizzard PPC 040/240/SCSI. The 68040 is socketed, so it should be easy to swap the 68040 with a 68060 if you have one. For 500 EURO you will get this 040/240/SCSI board as well as a 060/240/SCSI which can not detect the ram installed on it. Pictures not yet available, but at the first request I will make them available.

The BlizzardPPC with socketed 68040 CPU, 240 MHz PPC CPU and SCSI controller can be bought for 350 EURO. The board has been fully tested, and works as expected, the only problem is that only one of the ram sockets work. 68040 CPU, 240 MHz PPC CPU, SCSI controller and one ram socket works 100 %. Comes with installation CD and a CD with all needed software, manual in PDF form and installation disks in DMS, ADF and LHA format, as well as SCSI cable and a 32 MB module (the memory module can be seen on the photo, it's the top one).

The board has been tested with the same hard- and software as the Blizzard PPC 040/160 board. What is included with the 040/160 board is also included with the 040/240 board, only has the 2 x 16 MB ram been exchanged with a 32 MB module, and a SCSI cable follows the 040/240 MHz board as well.

A 128 MB memory module (the lower one on the photos of ram) can be bought for 25 EURO, so the board is maxed out memory wise, since one of the ram sockets isn't working. Furthermore, a 2160 MB IBM SCSI harddrive can be bought for 35 EURO with pre installed Workbench with all needed drivers and software for both the 68040 CPU and the PPC CPU.

Alternatively, a Blizzard PPC with 68060 CPU, 240 MHz PPC CPU and SCSI controller can be bought together with the above mentioned board for the price of 150 EURO, so a total of 500 EURO. This board can unfortunately not recognise any ram on the sockets, but boots fine. I haven't made any screenshots of software running with this board since the 2 MB chip ram almost is gone when Workbench has loaded.

So, I have just uploaded some better images of the Blizzard PPC board with 68040, 240 MHz PPC CPU and SCSI controller. The new pictures can be seen by using the old links above.

My alternative offer is to replace the 32 MB SIMM module with a 128 MB one, as well as adding a 2160 MB IBM SCSI drive which is set up for usage with the Blizzard PPC board. Pictures of that lot can be seen here

Price for the stuff on the first picture is 350 EURO, and the price of the stuff on the second picture is 400 EURO.

Keep in mind that the extra CD with latest libraries, flashupdates, manual, etc isn´t on any of the pictures, but it will of course follow the board.
