Ultracard (Hypercard-like)

I'm looking for a copy of Ultracard. This was an adaptation of the Mac Hypercard application developed by Mike Lehman for Intuitive Technologies in 1989.

A copy was sold on eBay recently, so I'm quite sure it really existed.

I could not find it in TOSEC or anywhere else, so I'm wondering if anyone still has a copy ready to be dumped?!

there is hope, but i can look only later for the real files - maybe someone is faster - or download the whole thing yourself.
on eab fileserver ( /Commodore_Amiga/Collection/BBS/THE BOILER ROOM ) in the boilerroom archive, there is:

perhaps "N" is for NUKED" so it is not included, just the upload is reported this way :/
Code:
UC145.LZH N 120823 11-23-89 Bug-swatted version of Ultra Card
UCROOM.LZH N 45160 11-23-89 Additional Ultra Card stuff to help
ULTRACP1.WRP N 421255 01-06-90 Newest upgrade of Ultracard V1.5
later ultracard was renamed into foundation - maybe the next entries are this release:
Code:
FOUND1.DMS P 328014 08-11-91 Foundation ... Disk 1
FOUND21.DMS P 451416 08-11-91 Foundation ... Disk 2A
FOUND22.DMS P 453186 08-11-91 Foundation ... Disk 2B
FOUND3.DMS P 579688 08-11-91 Foundation ... Disk 3
there is also HyperBook in the boilerroom archive:
Code:
HYPRBOOK.DMS P 444881 10-25-91 Hyperbook...Desktop publisher
which is on tosec already.

Thanks, emufan!

I did not realize that Ultracard had any successors

The BBS arc seems like a lot to download, so if somebody could upload the files that would save a LOT of bandwidth ;-)

i found one more version of Ultracard - take alook into the zone - UltraCard-Foundation.zip:
Code:
Foundation 2.71 Mike Lehman 1-of-3-1991 .dms
Foundation 2.71 Mike Lehman 2-of-3-1991 .adf
Foundation 2.71 Mike Lehman 2a-of-3-1991 .dms
Foundation 2.71 Mike Lehman 2b-of-3-1991 .dms
Foundation 2.71 Mike Lehman 3-of-3-1991 .dms
UltraCard_1.4.5 Mike.Lehman-1989.lzh
UltraCard_1.4.5-UltraRoom-Stack.Addon.lzh
UltraCard 1.4.2a Mike Lehman 1989 1of2.dms
UltraCard 1.4.2a Mike Lehman 1989 2of2.dms
UltraCard-Plus_1.5 Mike Lehman 1989.wrp
Edit:
i recreated "Foundation 2.71 Mike Lehman 2-of-3-1991 .adf" from disk "2a" and "2b" - i kept the original inside the archive - just in case you have problems creating disk 2 of foundation or want try yourself ( dms write 2a --> then on same disk: dms write 2b ).

no prpblem.
i installed foundation - the installer is a bit strange. before you start the installer, create a directory, maybe "dh0:foundation".
on first screen in installer, you have to select two-locations. in both cases, choose "dh0:foundation".

cool program - once a stack is loaded, you can change things with: Menu --> Edit --> Modify
we must find a manual for it

Yeah, the installer was a little off the beaten track

Thanks again, this looks quite cool!

Found this link of a magazine featuring Hyperbook and Foundation (pp. 36)

You can see Hyperbook presented in [ Show youtube player ] starting at about 46 minutes in.

Sorry about being late to the party! I'm researching hypercard clones. Would someone be willing to re-upload Ultracard and Hyperbook materials to the Zone? Google searches for these items are turning up empty.
