HDsetup on winuae
using winuae 1.2.0 (32bit)
ok i havnt got a clue what i forgot but awhile ago i had to wipe my pc and forgot to save the hardisk file? atm i got a 500mb ffs hardisk setup on it working ok on the emu. waiting for wb to be installed but like when i used to have an a1200 i wanted to split it into two? 50mb workbench 450mb for programs/games etc.etc when i run hdtoolbox to split the hardisk file it doesnt show up on :/ any idea what i missed? |

Select HDToolbox icon and choose Information from the menu. In the window which appears you see some tooltypes (if tere are none, you have an old version of HDToolbox). There should be one reading SCSI_DEVICE_NAME=scsi.device with brackets around it. Change it to SCSI_DEVICE_NAME=uaehf.device and remove the brackets.
Finally open the WinUAE config, go to the Hard Drives page and double click your HDF, then click on "RDB mode" and save the config. |
