YES!

Just found this amongst all the stuff I'm currently looking thru...
Well done, and COMPLETELY IN GREEK!

So this will the first Greek-only game in HOL! (clicky)

In the zone (where else

)

Funny thing is that there have been a few Greek games that are not in HOL. Unfortunately, I can not find them. My fault back in the mid 90s that I didn't keep them. If I remember well, there were 3 games, released by Spin Software. A shooter called Galaxy ...something, a mind game called Tarta, and a strategy game that I forgot the name. I have reviews in Greek mags from all 3....

@manicx: could you please scan in the reviews and then e-mail me so that I have your address for reply? I'd like to add 3 new HOL MIAs as Greek games are exceptionally rare. Thanks!

Or alternatively, upload them to the HOL ftp.

There is also a chance that some Greek guy directly reads the HOL entry and writes to the team by web interface, supplying screenshots!

So... After 7 years, we found this forum and this post.
We are the greek programmers who wrote these 2 games (TARTA & SHANGHAI).

Maybe i can send you the other game (TARTA). If someone there still want it.

u got your games available? if you don't have an amiga anymore I can dump them! I used to read ads on USER/Pixel I think about these three games...

Nice to see you here, Alexis. Your game was an excellent Shanghai clone, a bit difficult of course but I'll never forget my surprise when I first heard the "Χάρρυ Κλυν" quote when the time was up!

Speaking of Greek games, did anyone ever come across "Gnosis"? It was an excellent Trivial Pursuit - like shareware game, with an editor! I remember you had to hold down Ctrl (or was it Amiga?) to write in Greek.

Unfortunately, I got rid of all my floppies a few months ago after realizing that I hadn't loaded one in years thanks to WHDLoad, and my wife was giving me a hard time about the waste of space... now I kick myself for not backing up some rare gems I had first.

I doubt my floppies work (I still have my Amiga AND my C64 disks), but to throw them away? Tough.

Pyromania I doubt you'll find more. There are maybe 4 or 5 tops... total.

Nice to see you all.
I don't have the Amiga anymore, but before i give it away, i copy all my favourite games to .adf files. Of course ALL my source files (from AMOS).
My last upload to Aminet was "The most beautifull clock in the world", that i made for a local TV station (for the night).

I will try to upload some progs from the past.
