I can't see why people make fun of that. If you know the story *real* well, you will also know that the name was told via phone-line. And that meant, they had to guess its spelling from phonetics. And when guessing, errors may occur ...

@TCD
Yeah! but if you've got 30 seconds before you get busted, I don't think they would of had time to spell it out

Well, whichever way it goes, the mistakes are there and we can all enjoy the humour of it today and I'm sure there's no harm intended either.

It's amazing how quickly people can talk on a phone when they're about to be rumbled, and talking fast to someone who is not of the same language must of been mind melting for the person listening

Unfortunately it was not only the crackers getting the name of Bangkok not quite right:

Obviously they worked from the disk.

You bet they wouldn't! Otherwise the game would have been miscategorized as "Adult"

Yeah, it's very hard to understand why people made and still make fun of it, after all, the crack was perfect, the name was spelled right and Paralamia was an awesome group. *sigh* And name told via phone line my ass, it's of course IMPOSSIBLE to see the right spelling when booting the game, yeah, sure... Actually, I don't know what's funnier, your post or the "Turicon" spelling.
