Hatari ST emulator for 68K?
Kind of like the subject says, is there a 68K version of Hatari, the ST emulator?
Or failing that, what would the best available ST emulator for Amiga 68K be? Thanks. |

Doooooooood!
Have a look at this link - The docs arent very good I dont know what the min spec is maybe it needs a graphics card. http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?...ghlight=hatari The emulator is stable but seems a complete waste of resources as it uses Uae code to emulate 68000. Thanks for that - I gave it a quick go and got the following SDL.library message: Could not initialize the SDL library: Found no sufficiently capable CGX visuals I created a text file called .hatari.cfg and ended up putting the entry "p96" in it, don't if that helped. Snoopdos told me it looked at it, but then got stuck with ept.st which is the image I was trying. I think this maybe a P96 probelme with SDL ....sort of had this recently with the Red Alert port. |

Ok you have a P96 - I tried Hatari under Os3.9 setup on WinUae and ept.st did work.
The SDL library must already be there on 3.9 I hope you sort the SDL library |

Hi Angus (and Boo Boo),

Thanks for showing us where to find the Hatari emulator for Amiga, Boo Boo. |

Furthermore, I could copy them (they were originals, with error protections) with ProjectD . |

Is there any chance (pretty please) you could create a savestate adf of EPT when you have it running? I could then look into a generic (or maybe handcoded) WHDLoad patch for it - even if it crawls. Quote:
I've been attempting to run SDL 1.2.6 from Aminet, its dated 2003. I may be misusing it though... I've just basically plonked the SDL folder in libs, and when that didn't bring any joy, I copied the SDL.library into libs, but I get this no suitable CGX screen or something which makes me wonder if it really does run on a P96 screen. Do you think I`d have more luck with 1.2.5 ? Any other thoughts? Last edited by Graham Humphrey; 11 March 2009 at 11:19. Reason: Back-to-back posts merged |

Please do look into it -maybe start with a basic slave that can load TOS into memory and allow debug mode and see what you can run |

Regarding WHDLoad, I should emphasise that I am NO coder, I just mess around with generic slaves with varying degrees of success. |

I'm going to try it myself before trying to answer your questions, or I'll really only be guessing. I've got a whole list of things I'm supposed to be doing in connection with EAB at the moment, so I'll have to fit it in when I get time to do it. I'm as interested in this as you are, so I hope to be able to try it soon. Thanks for your patience. prowler |
