Windows update automatic reboot

I use fullwindow P96 screen and i notice that the requester from automatic windows update(that windows is reboot in 10 minutes) is not show. So i get loss because i have not save my data and windows do silent reboot.
Is there a way that the windows requester is show correct, or is that a windows bug and happen on other direct 3d fullscreen games too, that the requester is not show on direct 3d screen.
The taskmanager screen is show correct, so windows should use same way to show this important requester.

But i better like to reboot by hand, is there a way to disable the automatic reboot in windows ?

Switch off that automatic update - I did it years ago as something similar did happen.

Moved.

Not sure what this have to do with WinUAE betas (or even WinUAE..)

I always change windows update to only notify when new updates are available.
(nobody probably cares but Windows 8 removes that stupid 10 minute delay with 2 day delay)

the winuae specific question was.

Wy the windows requester that windows reboot in 10 minutes is not see when winuae run in fullscreen. Is this a problem of windows and it happen on other direct 3d fullscreen too ?

in the past i disable automatic update, but i forget or was too lazy to update. I think the auto update is ok, but if there is no way to see the reboot requester on winuae fullscreen, i better disable it.
that win 8 change the delay to 2 days is good. I hope they add it in win 7 too.

WinUAE does nothing special, it is normal D3D fullscreen mode.
