A1200 Single Right angled Zorro 2

Hello there my forum chummies,

I have a project coming up in a month and a bit and need something along these lines

now the reason i post here, is that I am curious to know if the port in itself is controlled and if so, by what, and possible implementation of a home-engineered one.

any ideas welcome
