EAB/Lemon Super League 2015: Round 2 Game Vote
EAB/Lemon Super League 2015: Round 2 Game Vote - OPEN ROUND Starts: 00:01 January 18 Finishes: 23:59 January 31 Rules Full rules are here. Vote for five games. Your first choice gets 5 points, second 4 pts, third 3 pts, fourth 2 pts, fifth 1 pt. Remember to choose games suitable for competition play. Edited votes will be discounted (unless told otherwise) so think before you post. Please only vote on one board - either EAB or Lemon. If a game comes in ECS and AGA versions, please state your preference in your vote. In the event the versions differ gameplay-wise, the version with most votes will be played. ECS is the default if you don't specify. The winner of Round 1 will not get their vote doubled - instead they can choose any suitable game, with their preferred settings (if applicable), in addition to the game winning the vote for Round 2. Tactical or nosey voters can see the Lemon voting thread here. This is the first Open Round of the season, meaning any game at all can be voted for as long as it is suitable for competition play. Anyone is welcome to vote, play and chat at any time. May voting commence... Last edited by Graham Humphrey; 18 January 2015 at 22:27. |

Last day to vote. Don't forget nobody gets a double vote but the winner of SWIV gets to choose any game they want for the additional game in the next round.

IF I win the round, I pick First Samurai as additional game, played with max. reached level, then best time.

Voting is now over and this is one of the most hotly contested votes we've ever had. Here's how it finished:
1. SWOS - 23 2. Lotus - 22 3. ATR - 21 4. Super Cars 2 - 15 5= Rick Dangerous 2 - 10 5= Stunt Car Racer TNT - 10 Total votes: 19 - Total games voted for: 50 So Sensible World Of Soccer 96/97 will be played in the next round, plus the choice of the eventual winner of the current round. |

Doh!
If only I had placed Lotus higher in my selection... I'm so crap at SWOS, much prefer Sega Worldwide Soccer '97 (Saturn) or International Superstar Soccer 64 (Nintendo 64)!!! I'll do what I can, but will probably finish near the bottom of the pack |

Same principle and scoring rules, yes - but might try some different teams for a bit of variety, maybe national sides.

I posted this on Lemon a few days ago and forgot to post it here...
To decide the national sides used, I was thinking to go by the FIFA World Rankings in August 1996 (i.e. after Euro 96 and just prior to the start of the 1996-97 season), with the top seven being your opponents whilst you pick whatever team you like. The seven computer teams would be Brazil, Germany, Italy, Spain, Holland, France and Czech Republic. I know the FIFA rankings aren't the most reliable things ever but it seemed like a decent way to select teams for a game released shortly afterwards. |
