F-16 combat pilot
Hi all, First post. Has anyone tried F-16 combat pilot? It's locking up after a few minutes I used to play this all the time in my younger days It's alright until you're out in the plane then it locks, Wondering if it's a setting on winuae (took me 2 hours to discover pressing F12 to change the DF0 to my pilot disc!!)
Any help appreciated. Thanks |

Have you tried the WHDload version?
I know your running it on winuae but what Amiga are you emulating? This is OCS software and made need to be run on an emulated 500 or 500+. Dave G |

Thanks for the reply Dave, Actually I'm using the WHDload files disk.1 & disk.2 with winuae. I had a look at WHDload, But to tell you the truth I couldn't understand a bloody word! I've tried A500 & A500+ emulation but nothing seems to cure it!

ok, this means the protection is not patched then, hence the locking.

Dave G Edit: I've put 4 versions in the zone from the tosec set. I haven't had chance to try them. See how you get on. Last edited by davideo; 22 September 2009 at 18:40. Reason: Files added to Zone |

F-16 combat pilot
Hi Dave, I found a copy of F-16 combat pilot that works ok. I couldn't get access to the zone until I discovered I had to join the group. I found your files, Thank you I actually just bought a copy on Ebay then realised I didn't have a floppy drive! and my bios doesn't seem to support one!!
This is the first computer I've ever had without one!!! Anyway as long as I can play F-16 combat pilot I can die a happy man! Once again thanks for all your help, I'll light a candle for you in church sunday!! |

A PC floppy drive won't help much anyway. You can't put in a Amiga disk and play it with WinUAE. Anyway, good to hear you got it working now |

Thanks CyberDruid, I don't think I'll bother with floppies anyway, There's enough images around now for my trip down nostalgia road
