Will do, no probs, going to go through them all, I see there some cover disks hopefully he hasn't copied over them. He seemed to be a cool guy that just didn't have the space and he's still got a A1200 that he uses. So I've recommended EAB for him to check out and may sign up.

The photo shows it has a RAM upgrade with GARY adapter. These are only needed when going above 512Kbytes on the Trapdoor. Plus that wire going to the motherboard from the Gary adapter board is indicative of 1Mbyte Chip RAM.

What make / model trap door expansion is it?

Hi alexh

It was late last night, so not paying alot of attention. Today I have taken a closer look and it is a, Power Computing pc502 issue 3, Amiga 1.5meg. So I say this is 2meg A500

Thanks

Wow! Good pickup there, DonAmiga. Makes my A500 I got earlier look a little shaded!

Look forward to seeing the list of games you got with it.

I'm coming up to 37 (in a month) as well and get told i look 28, so although i am not quite doing as well as you, i am doing ok

No kids for me at the moment though. The problem with people like you and me though, is that we won't age that badly for a good number of years more, but then suddenly we will age 20 years in a year, which tends to happen to many like that.

Yup probably 1Mbyte Chip RAM and 1Mbyte Fast RAM. Interesting that PC502 is not listed over at Amiga Hardware Database. Consider sending in some high res photos to them?

Hi

I have set-up a album for the A500 that I recently bought, so that it would be easier to show the software and cover disks that came with it. All the cover disks I have checked are working apart from 2 that loads to Dos and 1 crashes.
Just follow link.

I would not waste a Genuine Verbatim on Radiant Silvergun, dont buy into the hype. Only reason of hype is guys who paid 200 dollars for it need to brag how great it is.

Great it is not, confusing it is.

Tell me, how much fun is a schmuppe where u need to remember six different weapons and where and how to use them. That does not sound like fun, more like torture

Bought this off the bay last weekend for £86. It turned today and works great. Booted up of the hd straight off. It's in a nice & clean condition and looks better than the original photos that were supplied with the add. Will get my Blizzard fitted in it shortly and then keep my eye out for a mediator board and a right angled pcmcia adaptor.

Nice catch Dagger, looks very clean and tidy. Case on its own is £73 new so can't be bad

Mediator should slot right in, no problem

Steve.

Honestly, I find the classic SHMUPS much more approachable than some of these later ones, like Silvergun. Just too many complicated weapons, ranking system, and/or bullets - take your pick Apparently, everything needs to be innovative today. Must be getting old...

Still find Silvergun a great game though - and NO, I haven't bought - yet.

@Dagger: Very nice. Looks very clean!

Got a CD32 PSU, 2 Amiga RGB scart cables, and a workbench 3.1 disk set Had a great time with Banshee CD32 last night (finally), even though I find the game sub-standard SHMUP-wise.

Got a 19" monitor for my xbox rig. It looked in good condition but a bit disappointed to find a pressure mark and a dead pixel. Will try the known tricks to fix...
