Can write Amiga Bootblock PC?
I know a standard PC floppy drive can't write Amiga Disks but can a Amiga Bootblock be written just track 0?
Sorry if rather stupid question. |

It can in a round about way. Either using parallel port method or using another intermediary... but these methods are for writing entire disks so can do any tracks.

I thought I read somewhere about the bootblock being in the same position on all systems or something hoping a technical guy could tell be if it's possible in theory?
Or if I attempted to copy a Tri format disk on PC would the Amiga BootBlock remain? Last edited by Retro1234; 10 June 2019 at 15:30. |

There are a few tri format disks in the magazine rack, in the Zero section, specifically the last disk. It's ST, Amiga and PC. If you want to play around with copying one. |

Why? If they don't have any sort of copy protection, and the ST/PC format contains the same physical layout, the only problem would be emulators wouldn't be able to read the adf format disks, but you should in theory be able to write those tracks back to a real floppy, or use something like the HxC disk management to convert to different formats.
Either way, I can give you a kryoflux free ctraw dump of that specific disk if you want to have a look at it. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1at...QqU7MoMattALxH |

I suppose your right but I was think because ADF can't hold the TRI Format.
Thanks I've download the Zero Issue 31 you uploaded. At some point I'll write it to disk on Amiga and then try copying it on PC Anyone know any good PC copy software maybe like X-Copy for PC |

What you *can* do is to create a boot block within a floppy image, to be used within emulators. This is just a regular file, and only the correct "byte sequence" need to be put at its start. |
