Hi all,
I started this thread because I was quite amused at my wife`s reaction to my retro hobby, not anoyed by it - we love each other to bits after 11 of marriage and she does does mock me but it is all just a bit of fun. I`m happy for you guys who have wives / girlfriends who share your retro passion, it must be really great, one day my wife may learn to appreciate it, but who cares ? - I wont get into her passion for cooking or shoes !! Anyway, my point is I`m also dissapointed how sexist this thread has got so lets tame it down a bit, stop the offending or bad taste comments ( me included ) Lets have a laugh but not be stereotypical men behaving badly and keep it fun but clean and show respect !! |

It has come to my attention that this thread has gone OTT and OT
Off Topic mode... @twizzle Yes she does but they are imaginary On Topic Mode My wife hates my computer, she has often threatened it with a lump hammer, on more than one occasion. She even threw it at the computer once but it deflected off my shoulder, phew! She has often said 'Do you have sex with it, 'cause you spend more time with that than you do with me', now this caused some real arguments, but that's another story. I just wish she was more capable and enjoyed gaming, but like I said in an earlier post, she has got no hand eye coordination |

True
When she's on the computer she still spins her index finger around looking for the right letter to press I know I shouldn't laugh, but she says she was a trained typist, a trained typist my arse, you don't forget stuff like that, or do you |

I don't have a relationship at the moment, but if she would hate my Amiga and throw things at it, then she can not under any circumstance be a part of my life. Same for: ”It's me or the Amiga.”. In both cases it would be: Get out of my house and out of my life now

If she were to find out how much time I spend on here, she would flip her top, she thinks I'm doing some really important computer stuff that is so important that I have to spend hours and hours doing it. Little does she know I'm spending all my life talking to you guys
