Russian Arcade machines
A Danish newspaper got an article about old russian arcademachines
http://e.avisen.dk/aarhus/index.php?...s=1485&p=33788 Here is some picture of the machines: The first one is an machine for grabbing some toys (not really an arcade machine but: The nex is a game where you answer some question about traffic rules This one is an airbattle game where you shoot down airoplanes This one you control a tank. This one you shoot at small targets This one is a submarine game, shoot the submarine with missiles This is some really buttugly machines, but they are from the old soviet union, so maybe someone can tell a little about them |

Nice screenies there Dizzy, I bet all the arcade machines were built like T60's too, weighed a ton or two and would just keep going

That's one of those "handhelds" everybody had back in the days, around 1991 IIRC.

Didn't think there would be an even crappishist version than the one on that handheld...
Don't change the subject s2325, and tell me you had one too. |

That handheld looks familiar, IIRC I played on this (but didn't had it). But it was definately before 1989. It's based on a popular (at least in East Germany) Russian comic.
It seems there was an arcade in East Gemany too, but I haven't seen this one in real |

@Dreamcast Dizzy
Thank you for your efforts!!! an interesting read.... i do hope these 3 chaps can make a go of the museum there about half way to collecting all the arcade machine produced by the military. I know those old machines look decrepit and somewhat beaten but its easy to fall in love with them... |
