transfer pc > A600???

Right then guys, call me stupid, but I can't find an easy way to get a file or 2 from my pc (this machine) to an A600. Specifically, I've dragged my old A600 out of retirement, and want to install some stuff on it...
Also, I've dug out a few games, and the discs just don't wanna know. Is there any way to write an Amiga disc image using a pc, or have I got to transfer the files(s) to the Amiga first?

I have looked, and all the methods just seem like a real amount of work!!!

If the files are small (and will fit on a 720kB PC DD disk) then you can just copy the files onto the disk and read them on your A600 using something like crossdos or messySID. You can also use a file splitter to split files into chunks that fit onto the disks (eg. Splitz and Joinz which came with adpro have both amioga and pc binaries)

Does your A600 have a HD in it (if not you should consider buying an old laptop drive for it) because it makes this sort of work much easier (esp if you need to split up files)

No you can't write Amiga disks on your PC, it has to be done on the Amiga.

Cheers....
The A600 has a laptop drive in it, 20 meg. Might have to investigate a null modem approach or something!

Get yourself one of those adapters, A CF-card and a few files from Aminet.. and you're x-fer problems are solved

The files you need on the amiga-side are

cfd.lha (to use the CF-card) and FAT95.lha or MSD95.lha (to handle FAT-filesystem)
