Brutal Sports Football AGA Running Slow...

Hi all,

anyone having problems with the speed/frame rate when running the "WHDLoaded" Brutal Sports Football AGA? I'm trying to run it on my real Amiga 1200, with 4mb expansion. All other games run pretty much as expected, (including other AGA titles), but Brutal Sports Football really chugs along for me...

I tried the CD32 version, and it ran fine, (frame-rate wise anyway, the only problem I had was with the mouse plugged into port 1 causing issues).

Any ideas?

the aga version runs slower than the cd32 version
and I think that there isn't a solution for that

Hey Laser,

thanks for the reply mate, I appreciate it. At least I know it's not my Amiga 1200 that's the problem. I'll just keep playing the CD32 version, and my floppy-disk ecs version.

I have a problem with this game, mainly the CD32 version, but also the AGA version to some degree. I'm mostly interested in getting the CD32 to run properly though, so if I can get some help with that it's much appreciated. Who knows, maybe it's a known or unknown bug.

Anywhere, here goes: When I load the CD32 version, the mouse continuously seems to mess things up, so I have to disconnect it. But worse is I can't get the buttons to work on my CD32 pad. I have to play the game with a combination of moving around with the pad, and pressing F6 to throw/shoot/kick/slash/whatever and I noticed that F8 is like the Start button, in menus it selects the highlighted option, while in game it pauses. When I press escape, I get the credits.

Either I'm incredibly stupid, or there's something seriously wrong with the controls in this game. I've not tried any tooltypes, but I don't really know what tooltypes to try.
