With the red enemy planes done by nightshift, I switched the power up wave to use those.
Then I coded the power up code for the stage 1 wave, and the bonus points being shown. The POW is the wrong colour I know :-)
A long time ago nightshift did the sfx for power up, so I added that as well.

Small video showing progress here:

I wanted to post this a few weeks ago but just have been too busy with work at job - however:

The Tilemap is 100% complete.

It had quite many missing parts. Most of them could be filled with existing tiles, very few have been mirrored and I even drew two tiles (maintaining the original gfx).

Meanwhile Agermose is working on green zero fighter moving patterns.

I am definitely too much of a hardware geek, I thought this thread was going to be about CBM 1942 monitors

Looks really good. Finally a worthy conversion of this classic seems to materialize.

You can remove the word "seems"

It will materialize, but won't happen this Summer as we planned. Some time this year looks likely, with current pace.

Running on emulated A1200.
It will run on OCS A500, when completed.

How much memory do the tiles take up? Are they 16 colours?

Great work Agermose, looks very smooth
