I just checked my archives and found the trilogy crack of Powerstyx that is 100%. Played it through in winuae and no gfx corruption. It does not have the checksum error that the tosec version has. See the attached dms

@Abaddon: That's a nice find
Ironically (as yours is a DMS file), The bad Trilogy release has DMS!1.52 written through tracks 2 to 9 so no wonder it had a checksum error! |

guess what, I stumbled on this file during sniffing through the collections directory on the EAB directories. I saw Abaddon BBS and said, why not try his Powerstyx there. Turned out to be the same DMS, but I thought it was the same bad one!
Quick compare in Winhex shows indeed the BAD DMS has tracks 2 till 9 different from the GOOD Abaddon one. Thanks!! But I would still like Prowler to recover the elusive Bamiga Sector 1 crack! |

Also, Jim has asked me to supply an SCP image of the disk for him to analyse, which could help him add support for 5ΒΌ-inch disks to the SuperCard Pro, and that I will do afterwards. (I didn't keep the results of my first attempts because I had thought they were worthless. |

I uploaded to the zone my homemade IPF for Powerstyx NTSC, which does not state "DEMO VERS 0.9" in the high score table

Awesome work guys
BTW @TjLaZer the archive you uploaded to the zone also has 'DMS!1.52' written amongst the tracks. I decided to convert the DMS to ADF that Abaddon provided. This is definitely a good DMS file. It is now in the zone as 'Powerstyx (1988)(DigiTek)[cr Trilogy][t +1 Trilogy](Good)'. Last edited by niobyte; 02 February 2015 at 13:39. |

Found broken floppies of these (Part 1)
That is the same disk that I updated the ADF from. There are three corrupt files from the bad archive and I replaced them. I tested all the levels and they all work.

There seems to be a problem with that DMS as I was not able to wright it back to disk. I had to mount it in WinUAE and copy the files over to the bad disk. I will give your disk a try....

I will get it done - and also resume my efforts to recover the rest of those disks you sent me - when time allows, and the PowerStyx 100 disk will come first. However, due to unavoidable commitments, I still cannot say when that will be.
To expedite the process, if someone else having the knowledge and equipment to do so in the meantime would like to come forward, then I will forward the disks to that person. |

in an odd twist, I found some of these long lost floppies back while testing ALL my floppies to see which ones were not rotten yet. Turns out some of these were backed up to 3.5" but the label was not updated with the new contents
