Box and Poster Scans
Has anyone got or can anyone do me some high-res (300dpi min) scans of amiga boxes or posters (any posters will do whether they are from inside game boxes or from magazines)?
I want to try something thanks Last edited by BippyM; 27 January 2007 at 12:44. |

Think my scanner died a few months ago but I'll try to resurrect it over the next few days and get some to you.

By the way, install a VRML plugin and goto http://www.redump.de/temp/vrml/whale/whale_high.wrl |

They look good and a single dvd box can hold a few disks etc and for larger games bigger boxes are available.
They also take up a lot less room than the retail boxes, great for those members who have original games w/out the box etc... I thought there'd be more interest.. oh well |

It looks very nice bippym - but for me even DVD boxes take up too much space...
I have quite a lot of boxes scanned at 300dpi (and a lot of boxes that I can scan) - only problem is the 300dpi scans are big. Were there any games in particular that you were after? |

with the scans from the SPS collection I'd still love to see a Windows/Mac front end (like Gamebase) use the scans to display 3D boxes in a window as part of the information (and the user could then rotate/zoom the box etc. to see what the original box art looked like ).

PM me if you want me to do you some scans. I'm sure I've got a few original boxes still in the loft!
