Disk Scans for HOL!

K I have done about 130 disk scans and i want to upload them to the incoming hol ftp!

who should i direct these too? shall i create a folder with my name on it or summin?

i will upload a couple of em to the zone aswell just too make sure they are ok

so the scans were good enougth yes?

m8 i have LOADS more to do... and if you could see all the boxes and documention i have! it will take ages but i think its worth it

The scans were good quality. It definitely is worth scanning lots of boxes!

I was gonna ask what size should i scan the boxes and manuals at? i did some and they came out huge! about 15megs each :eek

did them at 300dpi but i think the file size is just way too big!

What image format did you save them as? Fronts of boxes at 300 dpi in JPEG format should be about 1Mb.

i did em as Tifs lol! the floppys i did in jpg from the outset!
i will do the boxes again as jpg and see what happens!

Think about caps too, if you have so many originals

I have the caps tools on cd ready to go... ive only recently had chance to get all the amiga stuff out too see what i really have!

Its a wonder my missus can put up with it all lol
