Not DOS disk. Sector 21 bad. Over and over and over...
Edit: Sorry, I think I posted this in the wrong place.
So I got my 80Mhz Apollo 060 back in the mail. I wanted to reinstall Workbench from scratch, but EVERY SINGLE floppy disk claims to have a bad sector 21 when I try to do a full format, or if I try a quick format it will tell me it is not a DOS disk. Well no crap it ain't a DOS disk, that's why I'm try to format it. Grrrr!! So I plugged in my external floppy but get the same old song and dance. Also, the copies of Workbench that I made on this same machine 3 months ago will no longer read. WTF? :/ Last edited by XDelusion; 29 June 2012 at 00:44. |

Maybe your Apollo is a source of those problems. Disconnect Apollo and try to format disks again.

??
I resolved it by putting one of my a2000 drives in the a1200 drive's place. Reformatted the floppy, copied the files back over, put a1200 back in, now all is well again... wtf? |
