You can transfer to pre-formatted 720k peecee floppies through the device PC0 or PC1, not sure how anymore, aint done it since the early 90's

, but I'm sure someone here will know and can guide you through it

Problem is you need a way to transfer files between your Amiga and the PC first. The transrom programm is included in WinUAE.

But your Amiga can read and write to 720k PC floppies

this is true, but there is no point to that , if i trie to read them in the pc it wont.

Then, come back on this forum to ask HOW to use the Amiga OS.

i have amiga forever , thought it was ok, so bought a real amiga , not an emulator.
now i want to install classicwb without using an emulater.
any idias how to do this.

As far as I know there no way to install ClassicWB without WinUAE. Bloodwych is a user here, so why don't you write him a PM with your question?

Put your real Amiga Harddrive in the PC so u can use it with the emulation, install ClassicWB on it.
Then put back the HD on the Amiga.

As I've never done that, ask others on this forum on how to connect an amiga HD in a PC.

i would but as ive already said my amiga is ide:
my pc is all sata 2 , so it wont connect anyware.

there 2 ways to do it. I did it using the compact flash adapter. i copied the files on to a complact flash card on my pc, then using a PCMCIA adapter i put it in my amiga, copied it to my hard drive and it worked. you can buy these on ebay.

or like i said before do the same thing but copy it a CD instead

WAIT..........

Format a floppy at 720k on your PC

Then write the dumped rom file to the PC formatted floppy in your Amiga using PC0/PC1 which can then be read in your PC 'cause it's a PC formatted floppy with your newly dumped rom file on it. Then you can drop the rom file in the correct folder in WinUAE, set it's path to look for it 'n' WinUAE will work.
