Setting up gfx & accelerator card

I'm having some issues getting the gfx + accelerator cards run under FS-UAE on mac.

Background: I took the ClassicWB HDF image as a base, and set up UAEGFX as the accelerator card. I've used Picasso before a looong time ago since last emulating and iirc it required the installation to be run.

Booting to the WB, I can only see the basic Amiga screen modes available. Should uaegfx work out of the box or does it need some drivers or monitors to be installed?

I'm also having issues setting up the accelerator cards. Some of them just plain crash and those that work then fail to boot any of the HDF files that boot with the accelerator card disabled.

I've all the required roms set up. Is there some additional tweaking required here?

Did you use the ClassicWB that's preconfigured with P96? https://classicwb.abime.net/classicweb/p96.htm

I just tried using that System.hdf with a very basic FS-UAE configuration (A1200/Blizzard 1230/32MB Accelerator RAM/UAEGFX Graphics card) and it worked right away.

No, I tried the UAE one. Maybe it's worth to retry with the P96 one.

In order to utilse the P96 GFX card and screen modes, you need to -

1. Enable the Picasso IV GFX card (in the expansions menu)

2. Have the associated P96.rom file in the rom dir

3. Install the P96 drivers onto WB
They can be found on Aminet here -

It isn't easier just to use uaegfx? No special roms et all
