The git repo was missing a couple of files, I updated the git repo a couple of hours ago, so just run git pull to get a fresh update

That's nice! Now we can also launch pre-installed whdload games (saved to a config).
I found a small bug: The launcher crashed when trying to pass a non-existent uuid as an argument.

A new development version has been released. Changes in FS-UAE 2.5.22dev:
  • Updated emulation core from WinUAE 3000b28.

Changes in FS-UAE Launcher 2.5.22dev:
  • Add support for WHDLoad 18.0.
  • Make WHDLoad 18.0 the default WHDLoad version.

If it simple exits with an exception backtrace, that's kind of intentional (as in, I haven't made an effort to present a nice error message on the console). But if the UUID is not found, it is supposed to fail with a non-zero exit code.

It seems that Fedora 20 package for launcher is not built. fs-uae and arcade are both on 2.5.22 version, but newest laucher is still 2.5.21.

Also, what is the process of getting Fedora 21 repo? (Fedora 20 repo works in F21 but of course it would be better to have "native" repo) I can help if needed.

Hi, at first: thank you very much for your work on this wonderful emulator. I use FS-UAE on my MacBook Pro since a couple of years now, and have a lot of fun with it
Now, i tried to update my installation (with a working amigaos 4.1 installation) from v20 to v22, and while my "amiga" is booting, it now complains about the qemu-uae plugin ("...wanted qemu-uae >=3.5 (got 3.3)"), and stops booting with a green screen. Did i miss something? In the download area (fs-uae.net/devel) i can only find the 3.3 version of the qemu-uae plugin...

The RPM packages are built via the openSUSE Build Service, and support for Fedora 21 is not yet available here. I'll add Fedora 21 repos when build support is available!

An oversight on my part, I'll make updated qemu-uae plugins available soon

I haven't managed to reproduce it, but it is of course possible I just haven't tried long enough. Does it happen fairly soon after Workbench starts? Does it happen with a stock Workbench environment?
It's quite easily reproduced. Start FS-UAE with Workbench, full screen. Pointer moves normally. Switch to Mac desktop (three finger swipe or Alt-Tab). Switch back to FS-UAE. Pointer now snags at random points when moving vertically.

This still happens on the latest 2.5.22.

Yes! This is true. I have the same behavior since FS-UAE use SDL 2.0 and the ability to move to real Mac OS X fullscreen...

It's already rather easy to build from sources with the included .spec files on F21, but would there be any consideration to possibly leverage Fedora copr?

I have been able to reproduce this issue given the steps to reproduce I have added an issue here: https://github.com/FrodeSolheim/fs-uae/issues/48 - with current workaround and some additional thoughts.

Yes, it looks like this provides roughly the same service as openSUSE build service (OBS), but exclusively for Fedora. It looks like it is a bit more bothersome to use, as it must be given a src.rpm file instead of a .spec + tarball. So ideally, I want to just use OBS for easy of use. But it is a bit annoying that new (Fedora) OS releases are not available in a timely manner...

I can confirm this happens on my Mac too. My "solution": press left alt (option) button and left mouse button simultaneously inside the emulation. After that, my pointer behaves normally.

A new development version has been released. Changes in FS-UAE 2.5.23dev:
  • Fixed loading of Picasso IV ROM when using graphics_card_rom_option.
  • Read plugins from [prefix]/lib/fs-uae/plugins too.
  • Updated emulation core from WinUAE 3000.
Changes in FS-UAE Launcher 2.5.23dev:
  • Fixed joystick configurations, added –add-dummy-joystick arg for testing.
  • Require at least Python 3.2 to start, if not, abort with error.
  • Code cleanup, removed Python 2.x compatibility code.
  • setup.py: reject installation to default python library dir.
  • Makefile: Added separate install, install-program and install-data targets.

I forgot to mention that Fedora 21 packages are available (repo enabled a week ago or so).

I tested Fedora 21 repo and I got following error, if I use dnf instead of yum:

Error: nothing provides /bin/python3 needed by fs-uae-arcade-2.5.24dev-3.1.noarch

With yum, installation succeeds. It seems that dnf checks python3 more strict way than yum - /bin is symlink to /usr/bin, and python3 binary is in fact /usr/bin/python3.

EDIT. In fact it seems that I may be totally wrong here - I had duplicate repository definition still on place... Need to test more

EDIT2. No, with only one fedora21 repository in place, I still got error when using dnf.
