Surely reaching 88mph puts you into the future and the race ends. It's ok though, by the time you reach 88MPH in a DeLorean, the race would have finished anyway, they're slow as hell.
Perhaps an icey weather condition? Which makes braking needed? Just a thought. |

Break time:
Take a break and watch this. This is the feature / sequence I've been writing to (and blogging) Top Gear about for years; to which they completely ignored me. Well.. at least one other car show had the balls to make it possible... Lotus Submarine Car - the Real thing!: [ Show youtube player ] |

Please, stick with LOTUS cars. There is a lot of Lotus types in past and present, do not add other brands as it would be more Need for speed than Lotus challenge then. I am for Lotus Cortina and Sunbeam Lotus, if possible
Lotus Cortina Sunbeam Lotus It is something that I always found annoying in Lotus Esprit series: all the cars are of the same sprite, only with different colours. And they drive zig-zag, thats their only tactics. A reason why I preffered XJ220. Last edited by Predseda; 17 December 2011 at 21:20. |

Hey, you can ask Shaun for his source code (although getting direct hints from the coder is better because you don't have to understand asm/blitter tricks). He still has asm source of Lotus and probably most of all his games.

The body and paintwork has been supplied by Lotus, being of one of their old Soapboxes which have competed in the Goodwood downhill event. |

The Evora is my favourite Lotus by some way, then the Elise.
I think the thing I'm most looking forward to, is the fact that we can probably listen to music as well as engine sounds, and not have to choose!!! |

Actually, the idea of a Lotus Sub level is a very good one. You could use the same flight mechanics as the flying car. Just a thought....
