Yes, I've told you some are and you can copy them from the PC version.
Have you tried my RTG plugin? Do that first. |

As long as its only the background pics, it's OK
I will check the RTG-plugin... |

Sorry I think I was tired or something. The themes don't look so bad with just 256 colors. Some backdrop doesn't look right, but it could be done. In fact I started time ago a version full color and it works right with 256 colors, it only was a bit slower.

You've got to use WinUAE 2.7 http://www.winuae.net/frames/download.html
I've started improving my AmiKit Real Full Colour, but I don't promise anything. |

No progress: When I open Picasso96 Prefs it says "Couldnt find any modes", plus, I get warnings at boot... I did it straight after the tutorial...
I dont aunderstand it The strange thing is: To get it to work, it seems, that you gotta have the Piccolo activated in WinUAE BEFORE installing the Picasso96 drivers... I ended up installing it two times, getting twice the warning at the beginning... could set a graphics mode, but could NOT save.. After all, i decided to do the Amikit real installation again.. *sigh*... OK, new installation: did it exactly like in the tutorial. Same problem: as soon as iopen the P96 Prefs, it says "couldnt find any modes" Hm, i will install it again... Last edited by polluxx; 05 February 2014 at 22:21. |

It seems you are doing wrong the Picasso installation. Change that, but I don't remember what settings it asked and I chose.
About the Full Color AmiKit I don't find a reason to make it; it is just to change some backdrops to have the same if you want, but... I have some ideas for future updates relating the use of 256 colors. Last edited by Retrofan; 05 February 2014 at 22:58. |

I think a nice way would be to have an clean Amikit install, like
the PC Amikit but, for sure, modified to run on a real Amiga, just with altered Screenmodes PAL/NTSC 16 colors (for a start) and other things that are necessary to change... Guess that would be good basis to installl other things like graphics cards on a real AMIGA. |

Yes, you can do like I did to install a graphic card over my version or over the original version, so it's better if you can make it first on WinUAE, so you see the steps. Of course there are much more steps over the original version, but I'm not going to make a guide. There is one by Dimitris on the Web http://amikit.amiga.sk/download/misc...real_Amiga.pdf
If you want you can install my RTG plugin over the AmiKit for Pc version instead of mine, just two clicks and it's done. I will send you a PM anyway in some minutes. Last edited by Retrofan; 05 February 2014 at 23:01. |

To have RTG for AMikit real within the EMU isnt necessary, its
more important that it will run with Cybergraphx on my A4000D + cybervision ppc later... I did a third install - CANNOT get the P96 thing to run. UPDATE: Now it basically works, but still theres the P96 error message on boot ("...check your Picasso96 instlalltion") and although its set to 16M colors, almost every backgrounds and other graphics are dithered. For example, the Amikit Version-logo Last edited by polluxx; 05 February 2014 at 23:47. |

You probably need to use Picasso96Mode (which has to be in top 10 of most unintuitive Amiga GUI programs ever) to change and config new card.
CGX just works, P96 isn't that simple.. |

These were my notes with the installation of Picasso: "Run the prefs of Picasso96 (I've installed them on AmiKit/Prefs), select a monitor mode (test it first), right click on the left column your Picasso config and select "Attach mode".
I've got a good new: Thomas has made a program to dettect the screenmode you are using, and I will use it with the next 1.7.0 Live Update. If you are using less than 256 colors it will boot with a remapped image of the 1.7.0 logo like it was till now. The improvement is that if you boot using 256 colors or more it will use instead the original AmiKit 1.7.0 Logo of the AmiKit for PC version . Thanks a lot Thomas Edit: I'm improving my RTG plugin. I already have got a new MorpheuZ including all the Themes of the next update 1.0 plus the original Classic Themes and the 24bits Themes. Now just searching for a better music for the Startup sound. The 1.0 update is ready, but it has to wait for something great to happen, just to wait a couple of weeks more. Edit: Well, a month now it seems. Last edited by Retrofan; 02 March 2014 at 21:20. |

I've made a wallpaper, a tribute to the C=64 : http://s26.postimg.org/vvvz4fr7t/Com...er_800x600.png.
I've made it searching a C= logo and an image I taked from a C=64 demo. Edit: It looks nice also with just eight colors . Last edited by Retrofan; 24 March 2014 at 13:47. |

Thanks. I have to give my thanks to Wolfram Sang. I asked him for that image of his demo.... well, that was on 2012, so I've taked my time
Edit: Well, I didn't know how to make it by then, to retain the big pixels. This is the C=64 demo: [ Show youtube player ] Last edited by Retrofan; 02 March 2014 at 21:25. |

This is a video I've made right now, so you can see the 1.0 update and how fast it goes with an ACA 30/56 and 64 colors:
[ Show youtube player ] Edit: I forgot to say that I've got more improvements. Thomas has made a program to open a random file, and I am using it now with Play16, so the booting sounds that DJNick has made me with the "Welcome to AmiKit Real" voice will play randomly among 5 I've left (I made two of them with VirtualDJ on the Pc) each time you boot . So thanks to DJNick and also to Sir Thomas the master. Edit2: I think Jens should make another batch of ACA's 30/56, people would buy them. Last edited by Retrofan; 02 March 2014 at 22:04. |

Whoa, Retrofan, what sort of hard drive set up do you have on that? It's running MUCH faster than what I have on my A4000D with 060/50. I ended up going back to my other workbench setup because of some weird random issues, but it never ran this fast on mine. In fact, in AGA it was pretty dog slow, and was much faster in RTG mode.
