GVP Board

I recently bought a GVP G-Force 030 running at 40MHz, it was sold to me as pulled from a working machine. My issue is the GVP board won't work in either of the 2 Amiga 2000's I have. Both are rev 6.2, one has KS 3.1 the other a rom switcher with KS 2.04 and 3.1. First I got a yellow screen then a grey one.

Yellow is normally CPU fault, have you tried pushing down gently on the chips to make sure they are seated correctly?

Also try re-seating the RAM on the card.

Disconnect everything first

Check all jumper setting from here: http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/gforce2030

Have you tried cleaning the edge connector? For the larger boards I find a soft eraser is quite effective.

Have you recently had any CPU boards in either machine....possible the connectors onboard are also dirty. I've found a soft toothbrush and alcohol can help clean them.

I had a 2620 accelerator in the computer and it worked fine. I have checked the chips and jumpers etc. I did clean the edge of the board. I tried with ram and no ram, with SCSI connected and without too. Maybe it is faulty???
