USB Joystic button problems
I hava WinUAE 1.4.3 2007.07.29
I use WinXP Home and have a Logitech DualAction Gamepad and a Saitek P880 gamepad. Both pads buttons are enumerated correctly in their controlpanel programs in XP. Meaning that the button labled "0" on the pad, corresponds to "0" in the program This is not the case in Win UAE, for instance, in WinUAE button "0" is labeled "1" on the pad. This is not an index problems as button "1" in UAE can be button 4 on the pad and so forth. This should be dealth with in two ways: 1: Fix the bug, so that UAE talks to DirectX in a way that gets the button names correctly 2: In the UAE prefs panel, pressing the buttons while assigning mappings should be possible. IE "Select amiga function, then press corresponding pc side input". |

1: Control panel application does not use DirectInput names.
2: Planned but requires major changes. |
