Technical reference manuals

I'm searching for a (scanned?) copy of P/N A1000SM "Amiga 1000 Schematics and Expansion Specifications" as listed here:

https://groups.google.com/forum/#!to...ce/CgdGpEMnak0

Code:
Amiga 1000 Schematics and Expansion Specifications, P/N: A1000SM $20.00

(June 1986) Spiral-bound manual containing full Amiga 1000 schematics,
timing diagrams, PAL equations, and documentation for the auto-configuration
process.
Is any of this CATS stuff archived anywhere?

* I would also take rev 6 A1000 schematics, also frustratingly hard to find.

I just found that manual. Did you find it anywhere?

It's not easy to scan, with a large format schematic (a2 size) in there.

Amazingly a copy showed up on eBay and I pounced on it! I'd still like to scan it though, maybe somewhere local can deal with the size; I note that what seems to have been done in the past is to take multiple scans of the page and not put any effort into splicing it back together.

Of course after all that searching also discovered the PAL equation pages and corresponding JEDs on the Amiga Wiki.

If you can take multiple scans of the A2 page(s) and upload them somewhere, I can stitch them together for you.

That's a better version of one I have for the same Rev, thanks! I suspect I can try and find the middle ground between those and the preliminary copy I have; determined to scan them in now although the print quality suggests a bit of fix-up will be required.

Scans look decent, just need to check over in case I missed something and redo the main insert. Tested a join with Hugin, the only issue I have is optimising the file after conversion (PDF -> TIFF -> {stitch} -> PDF) but I'll provide the source scans too.

Whatever you produce, if you're struggling, let me know as I may be able to help.

Afterwards we definitely need to preserve the copy

Oh! And thanks too

I had to split across 9 scans to make sure everything was covered. Hugin seemed to accept all of the control points I put in but couldn't quite get it to do it's magic beyond a 2 image test!

Uploaded scans to the Zone as zorro_scans_raw.pdf for stitching

...and the rest while I'm at it. Not sure what happened to physical.new Page 7 in publication, that's clearly a printing error! Would be interesting to compare other versions.

Just merged them in full resolution rlake

You can find them in the Zone! under "A1000 Zorro Expansion bus [September, 1986 - PN-328015-01 Commodore - Rev 1.1].pdf". Please carefully check them to make sure that I have stitched them correctly before thanking me

EDIT: @ Prowler, you're welcome to still stitch them together mate, however, mine will always be the best

Well, after I saw that you had indicated your willingness to help with this project, it was inevitable that I would defer to you if you wished to go ahead with it.

I'll still check what you've done, though.

Slightly better version up, old one deleted, "zorro_scans_Merged.pdf" + it has been optimised and is a lot smaller @ 4.26MB

Please everyone who downloaded the old version, delete it and get the new version

EDIT: Spot the difference, if you can

Yes, I see what you mean.

It's higher contrast and the joints in the wiring are better defined.

Alright, there is none.

Lol, perhaps that's the optimization, nothing to do with me Prowler

Added a new border around the whole diagram, and fixed the A19 down the left side, about half way down in P2, as the original was slightly damaged and had a yellow tint.

EDIT: Well I'll be, I have found a copy of this on my PC, production release 1985 (it looks like) PN-328015 Rev C, poor quality though + some stuff has been cropped off Still, I'll try and repair what I can
