Convert using ADFOpus.
Join via simple join commmand.
Joining the 2 ADF's should work as well.

There's a text file in the same folder if you want to have a look. If you need a disk that mai has removed, I'm quite sure cosmicfrog can reupload it.

I think TCD's original comment was a hint aimed at me, or am I wrong?

@mai: Would you like me to save you a lot of time, regardless, and unpack them for you?

I can do them while I'm online this evening.

No, I mean all of them. Or have you already unpacked the others?

Yes (taking TCD's hint literally ). It really is no trouble.

Let me know, and I'll get started on them...

You are aware, that you cant convert:
18.944 BEAVTRN.DMS
24.323 CREATR.DMS
for example?

Why not? They are only packed tracks. The unpacked file will be those tracks only. They can either be unpacked over a disk which has the original data on, or I can unpack the tracks and then the blocks can be inserted into the original image or onto the original disk using a program like TrackEd. Or (better) those tracks can be copied over an original disk using DiskMonTools. I can upload a text file with information about which tracks are involved.

The question really is how useful unpacking those files would be. It's probably easier to extract them over original disks using the DMS program.

Let me know, which program with GUI can apply this ADF to the relevant disk?

DiskMonTools, as I mentioned above. However, it would really be much easier to use the DMS program to unpack them over original disks straight from the DMS file.

I was just pointing out that it's perfectly possible to unpack these partial DMS files, even if the output is relatively useless.

indeed, DMS program is much easier, no need to convert those images.

as i have said, you can of course convert those 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, images.
........ and compare against latest TOSEC dats, i suppose this ADFs are already in TOSEC

remember the aim of the game:
to prevent to have a lot of doubles on Fileserver.

It is really worth converting only the 80-track DMS files and the dual 40-track DMS files i.e. only those which will give complete ADF images. The others are better left alone.

I am adept at converting DMS images to ADF, but searching the TOSEC dats I shall leave to others.

Do you wish me to convert the 80-track files as well, or are they already done?

A small detail: The DSK4271T.DMS and DSK4277F.DMS files are actually LHA archives.

DSK4271T.LHA contains DuckII and trainer, and DSK4277F.LHA contains a SSDRIVE1.WRP archive.

I have uploaded an archive containing the files I have converted so far to the Collection/BBS/Unknown2/Amiga_04 folder.

There are five more dual 40-track archives to convert. These are non-trivial, because the two parts overlap and where tracks are recorded more than once, there are discrepancies between them!
