Shadow of the Beast Atari ST version
I tried the TOSEC versions of SoTB for Atari ST but they seem to be corrupted.. upon entering the tree, the machine reboots.
Does anyone have this or know where I can get it? Are original game images available for the Atari ST (like those SPS versions of Amiga games)? |

They are called PaSTi images and they are available on the net if you look hard enough. Although the temporary closure of Atari Forum wont help

Turns out I already had the STX version of Shadow of the Beast 2, I'd downloaded a TOSEC collection of Atari ST games long ago but I didn't realize it came with over 300 STX games as well
Still looking for Beast 1 though. |

Thanks for the link
Perhaps it'll pop up there sooner or later? I'll just have to be patient I guess |

I don't know anyone interested in the Atari ST unfortunately.
If someone in here has an original copy of that game, I would really appreciate it if you could make images of the floppies for me! That would be awesome. |

You cannot write PaSTi images back to disks... so you are going to play this game under emulation, why not just play the Amiga version or the PCEngine one?

I've already finished those, I want to finish the ST version as well and perhaps record it.

Is the pasti.dll available other places than at pasti.fxatari.com
The site seems to be down atm. I'm quite curious how this version compares to the miggy version. [edit] nm got it now. Last edited by Retroplay; 05 February 2007 at 21:59. |

Just gave it a go in Steem, not impressed.
Does it have that jerky scrolling on a real ST or is it just under emulation ? |

There are a lot of Pasti images (files with the extension *.stx) that were made from ST originals games here:
