A500+ / A600 / A1200 - Compatible Floppy Disks - Games List

came to point out that relokick 1.4a worked a treat. it was actually included on the software CD that game with my gotek so that was pretty painless.

Out of curioisty....does a list exist of all the games that require relokick? or even just a year of which games started to become incompatible? ive been testing games upon games for days and ive come across a lot that dont work, and this is probably why. too many to remember :x

EDIT* It appears my post was the one that has inherited OP in this new thread, so a simple explanation to follow; -

This is a thread for the purposes of creating and maintaining a list of system compatibility for various games released across the various amiga systems. It was born from me initally wanting a list of games that required Relokick for me to run on my standard a600. You will find the list itself a few posts down.

The Amiga 600 was released in 1992. So, a lot of A500 games before that are incompatible. There is no actual list i'm afraid.

I've made a list a few years ago for A500+ (it should be the same for an A600), where it says "Relokick 1.3" you need to use the relokick disk, while, where it says "A500+", the game works "natively":

Thank you! This list is awesome. In the interest of keeping it updated though, I've been playing Cannon Fodder, NZ story and Hurricane all fine on the a600 before being aware of relokick. Maybe my adfs are fixed or altered?

This should help with which adfs to put in the selector and USB drives for my Cortex drives for both the 500 and 600 Amiga's, as you say its a start
I should have wrote down the games that failed when I tried them at the time but I didn't and if I do get the time to try out some more games I will try to write down what does work etc (too little time though with other stuff to do).

Indeed there are some cracked ADF's out there that have been fixed to work on newer kickstarts. Some are even AGA fixed so they run on the A1200.

Yes, I am sure that different cracked/patched versions of game can work or not... for example I remember that I've used this version of Double Dragon 2:
[ADF] DOUBLE DRAGON 2 (ECS fixed).zip

Anyway, I'm sorry that I am bringing OT this thread... I have the .xlsx file with my list where there is also the number of disks for each game... if it can be of any interest for someone I'll upload it in the zone later this evening.

As liviux76 wrote, the list might have errors and indeed there are errors.
All known NZ story ADFs works in WinUAE uner A600 emulation.
QTX version of Apidya too.

Definitely NZS works on A500+ I've made a mistake on my list, I'm going to edit it now.

I've just uploaded in "The Zone!" a new version of my list.

I've noticed that there where some "errors" in the previous one but they are due to the different cracked versions I've tested that time and now.

It is certainly not a "bible" but hopefully it can be of some use to someone.

I remember back in the day they other problem with if a game was A500+ compatible was also in some cases down the the cracks. Where the original disks where compatible but the cracked version wasnt for whatever reason.

On a sort of O/T tangent, there was also games like lotus 1 that needed 1mb ram to run where the original ran with 512k
