Typo? Should that be '31' giving us a week?

I apologize for the intrusion, Graham, but I'm hoping I may actually get a chance to play this game during the round, as I was disappointed not to have sufficient spare time to do so during its development.

You're welcome.

Hey, It's April 13! That gives me three weeks! Be prepared for some n00b action.

(Don't worry, I won't post if my score is too embarrassing, in case I drag the EAB average down too much. )

Dont worry about that, we only take the top 5 scores from each team towards the average. To prevent this very kind of thinking!!

I'm pretty good at this, but I won't know how good until the likes of lifeschool and co. start posting their scores.

Feel free to delete attachments if you wish. At some point you will need to if you run out of attachment space anyway.

It does get quite tricky - in fact I will (like mihcael on Lemon) be very interested to see what people make of the difficulty level

Couple of little tips:

On the early levels, it's not always a bad idea to collect power-downs such as the weight (which makes you fall faster) and the snail (which slows your movement down) as these give you extra points and neither will handicap you too much on the first three levels or so. They can make things nigh-on impossible on later levels though, with the longer platforms and bigger gaps between rows, so avoid them then.

As you probably have noticed, as long as you are merely alive the score counter increases by one. If you're at the very top or bottom of the screen, the scoring rate increases slightly to reflect the risk of being so close to the edge of the playing area. Combining this with the double score rate pickup can be beneficial in a modest way. Of course most points come from the objects you collect, but gathering a handful of extra points here and there won't do any harm at all.

I was running behind during round 6 and was right at the top of the screen. My only hope was a small gap in the platform below, and to collect the weight - to throw me down that hole quickly! and land safely at the bottom. The Weight is just another of those Calculated Gambles which makes the game.

I was going to make some for the game, but Graham decided 30 levels was enough.

My best score (not elligible for this competition, as it's from last year) is in the 50k mark. I would expect scores near the end of this round to be atleast 100k.

I am going to have a go at the game now though

Yeah, I intend to delete some old images at some point (though my attachment space is currently only half full) that aren't my best scores for previous rounds. Though I may dump them onto my website and add links to them.

Yeah, level 10 keeps getting me right now. I used to know alot of the levels off by heart, but as I haven't played this since December 2012 I have to relearn some of them
