Dunno how much he lost though when ASL went under several years later. He was shrewd though, I doubt it was his money that was lost.
Well that's good to hear then, he has quite a lot still to show for all those years

I just wish his animators knew how to model arms and hands. Even though I was in the hardware dept. I gave a presentation on how to correctly animate hands and arms to avoid the Marionette (Thunderbirds) look.

Even today most companies, especially crunch-frog do not follow these simple guidelines.

It cannot be cos they are thick... it's got to be cos they are either Lazy or they are told not to!

Well i guess it's like a ton of things that happen less how we think they should.AI or rather interaction of AI is far is less explored even with all this extra afforded power we have now

Games design in general is broken half the time in some area and it's frustrating when something seemingly obvious or important isn't included

You ever though of rounding up a group so you can venture into game making or is it not really an interest

Personally i liked Jez really only because of Starglider and Birds of Prey but i didn't much go on his skill as a games designer to be honest - still he's rich and i'm not

Don't forget I was there as a hardware designer... not a games programmer.

Atom Zone wasn't a game more a little PC demo written in Brender (the multi-platform 3D Engine from Argonaut) specially for this movie. It was written in under a day (?) by Softie Nick Hemmings.

The guy was a total genius.. if a bit lacking in the social graces. If I remember he was a student who worked there in the summers for years (but I might be wrong).

I think I got it on a disc somewhere...

Just thought I'd let you guys know...

I've just saved my old xbox!

Ended up buying a hardmod, taped it into the xbox, booted the slayers disc and then setup a new HDD, locked it and voila.

Then I removed the taped down modchip which I plan on whacking in another xbox I've inherited which has a fecked HDD.

You didn't mod the XBOX so much as become part of the mod yourself.

Backup the Userdata folder to somewhere outside the XBMC tree, delete the top-level XBMC directory, overwrite the newly created Userdata folder with your backup.

I wouldn't go that far. If he were the King he would have used something else to hold it down (let your mind wander) so both hands would be free to hold his cigarette and g&t.

Haha, maybe the "something" else was busy with "someone" else at the time? I wouldn't put it passed KG, he's a talented man. :P

You're not painting a pretty picture of KG. A fag in one hand and a girlie drink in the other with someone using his "something else"?!
