I moved into Norfolk in the early 2000s, the only real memory of the original OSB is the Neo Geo Pocket range they had. I was very tempted but as a student didn't quite have the money to buy one.

Happy hunting at the market version, I have picked up a few things from there in recent times - mainly old Xbox originals.

There was a Computer Cavern in Reading, Berkshire and (for a short while) Wallingford Oxfordshire. I think they were all part of the same company.

Spa Computer Centre is where my 500 came from, still going strong.

I worked on Saturdays for LHC Micro Sales, which became part of Diamond Computers, and then part of Rock computers. It's now a wine shop

Finally, I worked at First computer centre whilst I was a student, which is now Norman Records

It always pleases me to see Spa Computer centre are still going

We had at least two dedicated computer stores in my hometown plus about two more regular electronic stores that sold games and minor accessories.
The one that survived the longest first sold Commodore comps and Atari and managed to successfully transit to PC in the first half of the 90's. They lasted into the early 2000's.

One is now a paintstore, the other is now a clothesshop.

After extensive mucking about on Google StreeView, I've found out that the two shops I went to are both gone, sadly.

High Street Micro in Crewe is now a photocopying place, and Wootons (think that was how it was spelt) on Edleston Road, also in Crewe, is now a sandwich shop.

Also, does anyone know the fate of K-Soft in Coventry? I was at boarding school near Bedworth and that little shop became my adopted Amiga store.

Oh yes, what a town

I've still got friends there, and it amazes me how little it's change in the 17 years since I left school.

There was a local DJ, Mark Keen, who use to claim the trees in Bedworth were made of liquorice and the people of almond paste. Strange, but funny.

I went to 3 shops actually in Portugal. The first one in Portalegre who is a hair dresser for the last 15 years or so.
In Lisbon I went to Centro Comercial City. Click The store is essencially the same but of course only sells PC stuff since the end of the 90's.

Then finally a store where i bought the majority of my hardware beside my A500. It went bust in 2005/2006(?) but sold Amiga hardware and software along with PC stuff, till it closed.

No wonder there are so many Portuguese Amiga enthusiasts!

I wish there had been a store like that around here. I didn't get the Amiga 'bug' until 2000 or so.

The shop where I got my 464 and later where my Amiga came from, and where I attened some computer classes (lol), was apparently shut down because of bad press due to the owner getting too familiar with some college students. When they shut down I took all the C64s they had (faulty and working) and 'saved' them from liquidators lol.

We had a little shop in itzehoe(located in the BermudaDreieck), bought there for c64 and A500.
i moved to the northsea for some years, and on the day i come back the shop was gone
Karstadt opened a little Computerhop, but on time they changed it's products to some strange kind of computer(my first win was >2000) and i had to order from catalogs.
