Resolution Autoswitch Plus Auto Resize Crash

WinUae v2.8 Public Beta 19 2014.4.29 (Also same results with winUae 2.7 Official)

Os - Xp Pro 32bit SP3 - 2gb - 2.7ghz dual Core Amd

Changing from Always on Resolution Autoswitch to Disabled while emulation is going crashes every time when emulated software/game makes a resolution change. (Using Dpain III to test with changing screenmode prefs to try and reproduce crash)

It doesn't seem to crash if left alone after emulation has started. It's more noticeable if using Res autoswitch + Auto Resize filer. Res Autoswitch doesn't change line mode on the fly as I would have thought it would. This causes some screens to have squished text or gfx inside the window if for instance switching from

Is this normal?
Is there anything additional I must understand to include a better description of the problem?

The last two times it crashed it was forced to "Task Manage and close winUae" with version Beta 19. Wasn't allowed to press the ok button it just stuck there with blank output after the popup giving the error notes.

Here is the dump file:

Use final 2.8.0 to create crash dump file, thanks.

Same in DirectDraw and Direct3D mode? Filter panel set to none and null?

Autoresolution won't switch to normal if mode is interlaced (would lose quality, autoresolution never does it). What resolutions you tried?

OK
I've Tried with DirectDraw and Direct3D to reproduce. There seems to be no problem with Direct3D but upon switching back to DirectDraw the crash was immediately after switching line modes.

Had no problem switching line modes using Direct3D. It wouldn't crash. Even when changing from Auto Resize, Auto Scaling, Auto Center, Null Filter, disabled, and back to Disable Autoresize.

I tried from 320x256, to 640x480 in Dpaints Screenmodes. All well with Direct3D but not DirectDraw. No problem with changing Win Uae's screenmodes. (all window modes)

Here is the dump - Using DDraw and switching from Res Autoswitch - Disabled - Always on. Hopefully this helps.

Include also your config file (that crashes easily), thanks.

EDIT: no need, I managed to duplicate the crash already.

Does http://www.winuae.net/files/b/winuae.zip fix the crash?

That new Beta seemed to fix the problem. I couldn't get it to crash using the same reproduction method. It seems to be good. I'll be sure to take note if something else happens.
