1. Rainbow Islands
2. Pinball Dreams
3. Rock'n'Roll
4. Datastorm
5. Xenon II (with autofire ALLOWED - this was no fun last time we played it with autofire banned)

Ok, with the arrival of Capehorn the problem of double voting is settled
Good luck to everyone for the first game of the season: Pinball Dream.

Big disappointment, I found the physics of the ball... bad and the table too!
I didn't manage to do missions, go on the ramps, etc.
In short my first impression is this game doesn't hold a candle to Slam Tilt.

On the other hand, I don't really want to play Nitro, I already know the game but I know is not a bad game...

Give me a good argument for Pinball Dream and I change my vote
In my opinion Pinball Dreams is timeless perfection. Perfect music, perfect graphics, perfect physics (Amiga version only, the PC conversion was a disaster).

Not an argument for it but Dreams was released 4 years earlier and was OCS so alot of A500 owners could play it. Slam tilt was AGA only.

You can't. If you change a game in your vote that is a valid choice your entire vote is rendered void. Bit surprised the guys haven't picked up on this.

I was just about to post "you cant change your vote". I check the threads a few times a day but mostly Lemon.

At least we now have the first game hopefully settled with 20mins to go.

I do not have enough experience for "timeless perfection", you're probably right.
But I find the Ignition table ugly.
Sometimes the ball has strange reactions, accelerations that are not necessary.
The design of the table seems dubious; there are places that should be easy to access and yet that is not the case.
I hope I will have fun on the other tables.

At the time of Pinball Dream, I played rather on real pinball
But actually it is not the same generation, indeed.
I can just say there have been a lot of improvements in a good way.

Voting's over. Here are the final results:

1. Pinball Dreams - 37
2. Nitro - 34*
3. Test Drive - 24
4. R-Type - 22
5. Indianapolis 500 - 19

* denotes rexsu's double voting power

So Pinball Dreams it is! One of the Amiga's best.

Although I like Ignition A LOT, the other tables Steel Wheel, Beat Box and Nightmare are definitely superior. You're in for a treat!

Pinball Dreams is the staple that future Pinball games would be based upon. Slam Tilt only exists and its good because Pinball Dreams came earlier.

And considering how early of a game is, it's still incredibly amazing. The first table is the less interesting, the other 3 tables are awesome.
