Streets of Rage Remake
What a great remake of this classic. Looks and plays like a perfect Neo Geo port. Highly recommended.

Neat.
Funnily, one week ago I was checking the site to see if there was progress on V5. And as there seemed to be none, I guess I probably would not have checked before at least half a year. Not tried this one, but with V4 you could choose between SOR2 movements and SOR3 movements (running), so if anyone has a specific preference for one of the two, be assured that you can (I should say "should" actually, until I try) play the way you prefer. |

Anyone who wants to download the remake will need to resort to Google* right now, as apparently Sega has asked the remake makers to remove it:
http://www.vg247.com/2011/04/13/sega...make-shutdown/ I am mentioning it here so that people don't waste time trying to look for something that is no longer there. If some people want to discuss Sega's attitude, may I suggest starting a thread in OT-gaming? I had a quick look on their forums and it seems they are trying to negotiate with Sega, so it is possible it may be back online ... sometime. *: Just for information the file I had downloaded was: SORRv5.zip 229*563*370 bytes (ie 218 Mb) |

Streets of rage, I totally worship that game. For me, it was *the* title to get on the Megadrive back in the day. And that's kinda odd since I can't stand beat-em-up games at all. Oh well, everything must have an exception I guess....
