datastore by Digita
Picked up a bag of Amiga stuff from a car boot and it came with a copy of Datastore. I installed it but it asks for a registration number. I looked on the Digita website and can't find a trace of anything Amiga. Is this still been sold and is it worth registering?

Digita stopped supporting their Amiga software before 1998. They now sell some sort of tax return software. There is no point in registering it.

Shame. I can't even get to try it unless I put in a code.

I've put the version Eyetech give away in the zone, it's not complete, just the program directory, but your existing version should have installed all the libs / fonts etc...
iirc it's registered to 'Eyetech Customer' |

Let me know if it works (I know you will if it doesn't, and much quicker)
of course if it's like WW7 then any 7 digit number will work... Eyetech also give away Organiser & pinball mania if you want them... |

I was kindly given a code by someone which works a treat. I do have WW7 which I use but the code with that doesn't work with Datstore. Is Organiser one of those computery filofax things?

yep, a bit bloated for storing a few phone numbers though... but if you use the rest then it's not too bad...

Thanks, got it working and it seems okay. I have a disk that has some extras for datastore as well which I'll try. Thanks everone for all your help.
