Very few details on that site, but I'm afraid this is going to be some bogus hardware crap like Commodore USA released before.

All the images are hosted in PhotoBucket, the domain name isn't registered... seems like someone wants to stay anonymous

http://www.retrogenius.co.cc/emus-amigazip.html looks dodgier, and obviously includes kickstarts.

Of course... Looks like CUSA gave them an even better idea how to make a quick buck.

I was thinking this might be a cheap dig at CUSA. Especially with the KAMA case.

Bet it's just a stick to jab at C=USA with, and obviously just a few hours on a paint program and $0.00 of product.
Probably a bit of fun to show a white Karma TF8 case + AMD guts = better looking fantasy machine than proposed official. You can only get them in black I think though so a bit FAIL doh! |

Exactly, did that site magically appear on 1st April? There's no keyboard design shown so obvious joke.
Can you buy either of those new anywhere or just used ones on ebay? Compatibility with original 3.5" game disks in WinUAE or just for making ADFs? Last edited by TCD; 14 April 2011 at 23:19. Reason: Back to back posts merged. Use multi-quote. |

A pity if it's a fraud. I like this:
"Our new machine, the R-MIGA A1000, will have the same sort of elegant design as the machine that inspired us, and best of all it will allow you to run the entire Amiga archive too." |

Kryoflux : http://webstore.kryoflux.com/catalog/ You can create ADFs, not use real disks in WinUAE. |

You can actually make more advanced images than ADF with both, so you can image your originals (not 100% sure if you can use those images in WinUAE right away though).

The R-MIGA idea and my hazey memory made me wonder if I could ever use my original games via PC emulation. That would be cool and is what I thought could be done. Ah well just me dreaming

Just like the 'core' is virtual, so are your disks Live with it. Really, it makes it a lot easier Get a real Amiga or accept that you're using emulation
