Does anyone happen to have this one at hand?
I'd like to test if that (possible) bug with Item Detector also appears on the original WHD-installed version.

that's what I call quick help, thanks a lot!

This game has really a bug, at least the TOSEC version. If one of the items gets DESTROYED, either by an enemy spacecraft or accidentally by yourself (this is possible too!), the red 'Item Detector' light doesn't go out. This will make you unable to get into the next level, because you MUST get the items, they're not optional.

(well it's BLOODY hard, and I didn't mention the extremely tight time constraint yet, which is the reason why I only have one life left)

Bored Seal has included ... well, let's call it "trainer" ... into WHD version which is a gesture of niceness, but what use is unlimited lives for if the actual problem is the f*cking TIME limit and your SHIELD (which you only get replenished once in level 4, by the way!)?
